My girlfriend and I were there on 4/19 - 4/20 which was Easter weekend. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. Especially the little meatball sandwich and the filet migon. You need to talk to the lady at the welcome center, she gave us a paper with good restaurants that she marked for us. We know that your food was much better than any restaurant that she picked. Found your place by an unsolicited recommendation of a local and it turned out to be the best tip for a restaurant in AC, with regard to both food and ambiance. We found this place lucky for us several years ago. We make it to AC three or four times a year. We are from Maryland...3 hour drive. We love this place. Great food, Great Beer, Great People! Me and my mom recently visited ACBG on 8/2/02 after several visits where we found the restaurant closed. I was happy to find it open that day and tried out the food for the first time during the experimental early open for the lunch crowd. Boy was I glad they did that! While we were sitting on the beach, we were given a ACBG flyer and decided to try it out over the July 4th weekend. It turned out to be the best decision we made. The off-street parking was such a plus. The food was excellent at very reasonable prices. We really enjoyed chatting at the bar with Gino while tasting his selection of microbeers. We had a fabulous time and will definitely be coming back with our family and friends. Weve tried the rest but now have found the BEST!! Thanks for a great time!! |

Donna was our server very early on Sun. morn.6/30. She was the most cheerful waitress! We loved everything so much, that we came back on Sun. late afternoon. Another cheery waitress, we were seated right in the middle under the wall, close to the bathroom.more fabulous food. We love those spicy bloody Mary drinks, the lobster, the oysters, the atmosphere, etc... We will be coming back on 7/19 Maybe the 20th too!!! |

WOW!!!! What a great place to eat and hang out. Myself and a few friends stopped by there last weekend. We had fresh lobsters, pizza, and a few pitchers of Margaritas. Prices are very good compared to the rest of the area and you feel comfortable soon as you walk in the door. Well, anyway.....thanx for the goodtime and we will be back next time we come to NJ. We had a wonderful Lobster meal, clams on the half shell and 3 lbs of Mussels at your restaurant on 5/18/02. I have recommdened your establishment to many friends. I would only eat here for seafood its so fresh. Your guy on the boardwalk recognized us when you walked back and ask how it was thumbs up. Plese send more coupons? |
